Explore Bolivia In Depth

Maybe you’re looking for a great trip with a bit of a difference. Or perhaps you’ve been to South America before and seen some of the highlights, but this time you want to explore a country a little deeper and really get off the beaten path? Dragoman's Inca Heartland (trip code SCZ) tour could be just the trip for you. Explore the city of Cuzco as your trip begins before moving on to the world’s highest navigable lake, Lake Titicaca, maybe take a boat ride on the lake and even visit the famous reed islands which the Uros people have made their home.

Travel overland on to Isla del Sol and Copacabana before continuing to Potosí, once the wealthiest city in the world due to its seemingly endless supply of silver.

Then enjoy some rest and relaxation in Sucre, and enjoy discovering the charming colonial architecture and historical buildings of Bolivia’s constitutional capital.

Get your camera at the ready and head out to the world’s largest salt flats at Salar de Uyuni - don’t forget to bring your props to grab some original perspective bending photographs.

Then it’s time to head out to the jungle and experience the Upper Amazon River in Boliva. Explore the Madidi National Park on our awesome 3 nights/4 day all-inclusive package, staying in a rainforest eco-lodge run by the local community. Learn about the medicinal plants within the jungle and spend free time to explore the villages and check out the local handicrafts. Try to spot tapirs and Spider monkeys on a jungle trek, and at night take a canoe trip in search of caiman. On one of the nights enjoy a traditional Quechua-Tacana night with music and dance from the San José de Uchupiamonas community.

Head to La Paz and discover the famous witches' markets and busy streets before your tour comes to an end.
