A Little Bit About Natasha

Suffolk has pretty much always been 'home', however I have been travelling to exciting places ever since I was 15 and went on a school trip to India. You could say I caught the bug, as ever since then I have had an ever-expanding list of places to visit! I used to work in the outdoor education field and fancied a change, so moving into adventure travel seemed to make sense. Now I get to add destinations to my travel wish list for a living!

- What is your favourite destination?

Nepal - there are so many amazing things to see and do. You can be at the top of a mountain in the morning and rafting down a crazy river by the afternoon!

- What has been the most surprising destination you've been to?

Zanzibar - I didn't go to Africa to see Zanzibar, and it turned out to be a bonus! The architecture and the beaches combined make a pretty unique vibe.

- What has been your favourite or most memorable occasion whilst travelling?

There is an endless list of amazing moments. One that stands out is the first time I went scuba diving. It was something I was nervous about, however it was an incredible experience that changed my whole perception of being way out in the ocean.

- Where is The next destination on your list?

I want to say the North Pole, however it is slightly out of budget so maybe Canada?

- What is your one piece of advice for future overlanders?

Your camera is going to be your best friend and worst enemy - sometimes it is ok to leave it behind and just experience the moment. The more you throw yourself into each situation, the more you will get out of your trip.
