A Little Bit About Sue
Most of my working life has been within the travel industry in various roles from operations to sales, ending up in accounts after taking my accountancy exams at the age of 40. I have worked for Imaginative Traveller and Dragoman for 14 years, having spent time with various main stream operators including Thomson's and Thomas Cook. I spent 10 years living and working in former Yugoslavia (Croatia) before returning to the UK after the war broke out in the early 90’s.
- What is your favourite destination?
Croatia – having lived there for 10 years and having a Croatian husband, this country holds a big part of my heart.
- What has been your favourite or most memorable occasion whilst travelling?
After passing my driving test, I bought a left hand drive VW Beetle and drove through Europe to Dubrovnik, which included setting the car on fire in Amsterdam, driving along an old railway line through the mountains, and almost being pushed over the cliff on the Adriatic Highway!
- Where is THE next destination on your list?
