Stepantsminda Back

Stepantsminda, formerly known as Kazbegi, is a small town in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of north-eastern Georgia, an area famed for it's natural beauty. Looming over the town is the 14th-Century Georgian Orthodox church of Tsminda Sameba, which can be trekked to from the town - it's one of the most stunningly-located churches in the world, with the spectacular towering Caucasus Mountains in the background.
